Heather Pemberton has spent her career creating content for magazines, television, books, the web, live streaming and podcasts. After starting as a technology journalist for magazines and on air contributor for CBS News Up to the Minute; she joined the global business and technology advisory firm, Gartner, Inc. and has built Gartner’s trade book program, podcast, live streaming interviews and content marketing programs.
She was an early mom blogger with Mommy Truths, a top-ranked blog that covered her parenting lessons from 2006-2011. She ghosted hundreds of articles for Gartner experts that appeared in the business press including The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Harvard Business Review; and developed over twenty business books for Gartner published with Harvard Business Review Press, Penguin, Taylor & Francis, John Wiley, and McGraw-Hill. Based on her work developing books and bylines with executives, she authored Brand, Meet Story, How to Create Engaging Content to Win Business and Influence Your Audience (Taylor & Francis, 2015). She was a frequent speaker at events including ALA, Digital Summit, Internet Summit, and Gartner’s CIO Forum.
She lives in Connecticut with her husband, David, two children, two dogs and one cat. Her passions include hiking, reading, cooking, spending time with her large extended family, and listening to live music.
She is currently working on her first novel.
